#IrrigationAtlanta The most frequent question we get this time of year is “do you think it will get cold again and hurt my irrigation system if I go ahead and start it up?” Well, I certainly wish we had that crystal ball. Unfortunately, we don’t. But typically, a hard freeze is unlikely after mid-March. As most irrigation pipes are well below the frost line, if you want to beat the Spring rush, have your system started up, programmed for optimal watering and leave it off until you need it. It will take a couple more weeks of warm temps and you’ll start to see the dormant grasses come alive.
