We’d like to remind our customers that irrigation systems should be shut down when the temperatures drop below freezing to prevent overspray from freezing on sidewalks and streets and causing accidents/injuries. Irrigation systems installed after 2007 must by law have rain sensors that shut the system down when it is raining or when temperatures fall below 32 degrees F. Not only is this water efficient but it’s for safety’s sake.

You can have a professional shut your system down during the wintertime as well as have them install a rain sensor. Many companies, such as ours, also offer a spring start up as well to get your system back up and running after its been shut down all winter.
